Getting Together to Celebrate Antzy's Birthday!

We got together last week to celebrate Robert's birthday and this week was for Aunt Nancy. We all have a wonderful time every week, but it's always nice when we have somebody special to celebrate!

Just can't get a pic of my son when he's sleeping all the time! Here is Christina trying to climb up in the chair...she loves to slide down the recliner foot rest. Super fun!

These 2 little girls are so cute together. Watching them have conversations, boss each other around, follow each other up and down the stairs, etc. And this particular day Christina got into trouble and had to go into time out. Chloe was SO worried because her "Ina" was crying. Kristen kept trying to make Chloe come downstairs, but Chloe REFUSED! She just said "I'm staying with Ina". She was so loyal for such a small girl! It was precious. We all need good friends like that.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we all gathered over at the Memphis House. We had Ham, Potato Salad, Cookies (lemon ones that we shared with the neighbors), etc. Christina, as always, was super excited to play with her cousins who, we both feel, hung the moon! She actually understands opening gifts now so she had so much fun with that! AJ had a good time too, but he wears out faster! Here are some pictures of our wonderful time together.

So, we went to Memphis.

Grandma, Aunt Nancy, Christina, AJ, Bella and Myself.

We packed up the van, Aunt Nancy drove all the way and back. No stopping.

Bella was hot and panted the entire way there. (got her meds for the trip home and she was fine)

The babies slept most of the way so it wasn't bad. Christina did say "Mommy. Mommy." a LOT. It went like this.

"Mommy"

"Yes, Christina?"

"Mommy"

"Yes, Christina. I'm right here. What do you need?"

"Mommy"

"Christina...how can I help you?"

"Mommy"

ugh. It still happens...but it's not as hard to take on the short rides from home to Virginia and back!

LOL -- she's cute beyond words. I guess she knows that.

AJ was amazing in the car. He didn't eat well during the trip, but it was okay. Once we got there we met Melody and Andrew at home. He was SO cute. I was so happy to see him. We got to go and meet Chad for lunch at Chili's and that was wonderful and yummy!

Christina and Andrew had such a wonderful time playing. They were so precious together. He got a new tent for his birthday from Antzy and Chad put it together and they had the BEST time in it! Dad came over to visit and meet the babies for the first time while we were there. It was so wonderful and sad at the same time.

We really had no problems sleeping at night...AJ and Christina were wonderful. I hope to go back again in 2010. Here are just a few of the cute pics from the trip. There are a ton more that Melody took and on my shutterfly.

Annual Christmas Tree Trimming Party

Every year we gather at Mom and Dad's house to set up the tree. This year we got snow and Mom tried to cancel the party...but we showed up anyway! LOL Here is AJ with the toys - he really didn't participate in the decorating.
