AJ has started school. One hour a week...but it's wonderful for him. He's still adjusting, but it's very routine and it will help him transition into a classroom atmosphere. His symbol in the class is a school bus. So his bin and chair have a school bus on them. They do free play, circle time, craft time, snack time and then call for the parents. The only thing that really is hard for him is if another child is crying. That really upsets him. AJ is babbling ALL of the time. He repeats things often and I can see that he will be talking before long because he really wants to. He can say "bubble" and "ball" and his name along with "hewo" whenever he picks up my phone. So cute. He is stacking blocks really well...even holding his hand up to keep them from falling. He knows how to use a spoon, but hasn't mastered it yet. He's still very picky and he wants what he wants. He is so persistant and very much ALL BOY! He naps very well now, although not as long as I'd like and he sleeps throughout the night, not even waking up for medicine and blood sugar check.
Christina is talking up a storm. She's very sweet and happy like her brother - they adore each other. She takes good care of him and is always worried about him and looking out for him. Here are a few recent phrases from her that I don't want to forget:
1. "NO! Don't take it from me. I weed it to you." (talking about reading a book at bedtime)
2. "Bye Antzy! I weaving now!"
3. "I wuv you mommy. You are a pwincess."
4. Me: "Christina, get up to the table and play with your playdoh while your blankets dry." Christina: "Oh! Great Idea!"
5. "I know, I knoooooowwwww...you're a good boy!" (talking to Champ)
6. She stands at the stairs and says: "I be wight back mommy, awight?" in a very matter of fact way.
7. Christina, you are wonderful. "I AM wonderful".
