Rolling over...

AJ rolls over from his belly to his back going left or right...and pretty fast! It's really cute. His daddy worked and worked with him. He had NO interest in it at all so he never really tried. He is pretty laid back and isn't in a hurry to go anywhere or "fly away" like his big sister! I don't have a picture of him rolling over, but here he is last night holding his shirt like he always does and he has the cutest little boy belly ever! :-)

Unbelievable

I just went into the Nursery before I laid down to go to sleep and I still can't believe those precious, perfect angels live here. I don't know what we did to deserve such wonderful babies, but I thank God everyday for them. It's hard to believe they are mine. I love them more than I ever thought possible.

Things I want to remember about my babies...

Christina:

1. She crinkles her nose when she smiles really big.
2. She LOVES to jump.
3. She squeels with excitement when she sees her brother.
4. She wakes up smiling...every day.
5. She gets excited when I give her prevacid every night and she makes the cutest face when it goes into her mouth. It's cold and she loves it.
6. She grabs TIGHT. She will grab your neck or face VERY hard...it hurts, but she's VERY lovey. She puts her face against my face when she's loving on me.
7. She likes to play with Mama King's ring around my neck.
8. She hates to take naps...she never wants to miss a thing. She won't go to sleep when there is alot going on.
9. She will take every toy AJ has...and his paci from his mouth to hers.
10. She loves to see herself in the mirror.
11. She is nervous around new people and she wants me to hold her until she gets comfortable.
12. She LOVES to be sung to.
13. She is adorable the way she moves her little head around to look at everything...especially when Antzy comes to get her out of the carseat in the morning.
14. She has loved to stand up since she was about 3 months old...it's very hard to get her to sit down.
15. She loves patti-cake.
16. She loves to be tickled.
17. She puts her elbows against her carseat to try to prevent you from putting her in.
18. She will sit and play and occupy herself for a very long time.
19. She loves to be kissed.
20. When she is tired she wants to turn her face into you and she reaches up with her hand to feel your face, neck, jewelry, etc.
21. She always held her hand really flat for months after she was born.
22. When I wipe her face with a wipe, she sticks out her tongue and tries to eat it.
23. She likes the TV and if you get in front of it...she will LOOK AROUND YOU!
24. She knows her name and LOVES it when you say or sing it.
25. She is hardly ever still. She is very busy. She will kick her shoes off all of the time.
26. She likes her bottle warm...if it's cold she will spit up more.
27. She pulls at her ear when she's tired.

AJ:

1. He wiggles his nose when he eats.
2. He LOVES to sit up...he smiles SO proudly.
3. He talks...ALOT...very loudly. Especially at EARLY morning hours.
4. After a good night's sleep, I go to his crib and look in and he smiles big at me.
5. He always grabs his shirt with both of his hands when he gets very sleepy.
6. He sleeps with a rolled up blanket to his left and turns his face into it with his paci every night.
7. He stares at me...and is very flirty with his eyes. When I comfort him, you can see how much he loves you.
8. He LOVES to be kissed.
9. He goes to bed SO good at night...he smiles when you put him in his crib and he loves his aquarium.
10. He loves to get undressed. He laughs outloud.
11. When you kiss his neck...he belly laughs.
12. When his daddy walks in the room, he smiles a HUGE smile.
13. He laughs when you wipe his mouth after he eats...his Grandma made it into a game.
14. He can sleep on his Grandma for days.
15. He is very easily startled.
16. He LOVES his sister.
17. He loves "ride-a-little-horsey"...he looks up at me when I do it with a huge smile.
18. He loves when people talk to him.
19. He will fall asleep in the jumperoo.
20. He really loves his feet.
21. He is very ticklish...he laughs out loud over and over.
22. He had redish hair when he was born.
23. He is VERY hot most of the time like his mommy.
24. He won't smile for pictures easily anymore because he's too interested in the camera!
25. He likes his bottle cold ONLY.
26. He scratches at the top of his head with his left hand when he's trying to fall asleep.
27. He sticks his thumb way into the side of his mouth all of the time!

A few other things I want to remember:

- Avery calls their pacifiers their "mouth piece"
- Avery calls AJ "little buddy" and Christina is "boo boo", I call AJ "Mr. Cranx" or "Boo Bear" and Christina is "Lil Bitz" or "Princess"
- They accidentally hold hands alot. They like to touch each other and they will "talk" to each other.

And I know it seems like Christina has more pictures and I might like her more...nothing could be further from the truth...but the fact of the matter is she is just doing alot more at this point in her life and pretty soon I am sure he will be doing the same! Another problem is that she doesn't mind smiling for the camera, but AJ is really too interested in what the darn thing is and he's not really paying attention to me making him laugh :-) He's a sweet baby. And how could I not share these pictures just because I didn't have one of AJ? She is such a princess and I thought she looked like a little doll today...so sweet.

Night Night Time

The babies and I had a wonderful time today. The weather was beautiful and we spent time with my family - my favorite thing to do - while Daddy was in NJ at Joseph's spring game. They ate, got cleaned up, we played some and then I gave them their bottles and put them in the crib. I then went to straighten up a little and I heard jingling. I couldn't figure out what that could be, so I went to check. This is what I saw.

I had originally laid her down on the OTHER side of the crib on her back. I had forgotten I had put her mirror back in her crib now that she was at a good age to enjoy it...and she's very mobile!

And here was AJ...just relaxing and watching his mobile and aquarium...and me, while I took this picture :-)


I went downstairs to do dishes and bottles and I called Andrea to chat for a few minutes. That's all we really ever get :-) I never heard a peep from the babies and I usually always do. They were just worn out. So I went back upstairs to check in on the babies and this is what I saw.

And she went BACK to the other side of the crib when she was done playing, rolled over, and went to sleep.


I really, REALLY love these babies...if you couldn't tell.

New things every day!

AJ recently found his feet. He LOVES them. He is always holding them up and looking at them and touching them. It's so adorable!


Because of the way Christina sleeps, I had to reposition her aquarium so now it's at her level. I put her hand on the button to show her how to turn it on and now she turns it on and off on her own. I will get a picture of her doing it, but it will take some time...I have to be sneaky and catch her at the right time...just takes patience and I learn that a little more everyday :-)


Once she's done...she's done! I love how the babies look when they are sleeping almost as much as when they are awake...maybe a little more when I'm really tired :-)

MORE teefers!

This time...AJ! His bottom two front came through! I did take a picture, but it's not good. I'm going to try to get some good ones of both babies' teeth tonight. And they LOVE to get their teeth brushed :-) SO cute! Only thing, I don't have a PINK toothbrush for Christina...she's using a color that could go for a boy and that just won't do! hee hee Congratulations to my babies! You are getting so big! Now if you only knew what to do with that darn cheerio that mommy keeps trying to give you! LOL

The "Jumpy-Jump"

The babies LOVE their Jumperoo. We call it the "Jumpy-Jump" for some odd reason. AJ will actually play in this thing until he falls asleep! Sometimes his daddy puts him in it if he's tired and sure enough, he falls asleep. It's SO cute and funny! Christina has springs in her legs and can jump for days. Sometimes...well, alot of times...she can WEAR YOU OUT with all of the jumping...so you can just put her in the Jumpy-Jump and she can jump all she wants!

Teefers!

Christina was biting on my finger today...she likes to bite on EVERYTHING...and I felt TEETH coming in! And sure enough I could actually see two of them really well! They are on the bottom and SO cute! I really tried to get a picture but she's a VERY wiggly girl. Her batteries hardly ever wear out! :-) Here is the best I could do (for tonight) and if you look really close...and see anything that is pearly white...those are the princess' new teefers! All About AJ

AJ's first 4 or so months were not too good. He was pretty miserable alot of the time. He has bad reflux and until we were able to get that under control...he was hurting...and it was hard and broke my heart. Now...AJ is SO happy almost ALL of the time. He laughs and talks and is SO sweet. He's very cuddly and flirty. He's the sweetest boy.

In the last couple of days he has really been picking up his skills fast. He is reaching for everything and sitting up SO much better. He is now loving baths and kicks and splashes. He enjoys his activity mat and even his sister - who steals every toy he has AND his paci...will crawl on him and grab on him. She absolutely LOVES her brother. It's really sweet. It didn't take him long after feeling better to start picking up speed in his development :-) Here are some really wonderful pictures of my perfect son.

Here is my happy boy. It's hard to get him to smile for the camera much anymore because he's so interested in the camera itself! And I'm REALLY loving him in orange!
